Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between Conroe Information Technology ("we") and the business that opens a GreenFinch shop ("you"). By creating an account you accept them for the business, and you confirm you are allowed to.

Shoppers buying from a shop deal with that shop. The shop's own terms, prices and refund rules apply to those purchases; GreenFinch provides the software.

Your account

Keep your password private and give team members their own logins. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite.

Plans, trials and payment

Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Paid plans start with a free trial. Before a trial ends we ask for a payment method; without one, the shop moves to the Free plan when the trial ends.

Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; we do not refund part of a month. A per-sale platform fee applies to card payments taken through GreenFinch, at the rate shown for your plan.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

What you may not do

Do not use GreenFinch to sell anything illegal, to mislead or harm shoppers, to send spam, or to break or overload the service. Do not try to reach other shops' data.

We may suspend a shop that breaks these rules, with notice where we reasonably can.

Your content and data

You own your shop's content and data. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the service for you.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload, and for treating your customers' information lawfully. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.

Availability

We work to keep GreenFinch running and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We will tell you in advance about planned maintenance that affects your shop.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. You can ask us for an export of your data before you go. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Wording to confirm in legal review.]

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [state to confirm]. When they change in a way that matters, we will tell shop owners by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
